 Marketing Competition:Bronze or Call For Revenge

  The team of the International Ataturk Alatoo University took the honorable third place on the marketing competition held on March 25, organized by the Kyrgyz Economic University. Six  Bishkek universities participated in the competition: BHU, Kyrgyz National Arabaeva University, AUCA,KRSU and, of course, IAAU. We should note that IAAU team was the first time on this competition while other teams participated more than two times.

 The goal  of this competition was to find the ways Kyrgyzstan can attract tourists from abroad and create the unique Kyrgyz brand image. Teams had to introduce their unique style and also to prepare homework in the form of the ready-made marketing plan for the promotion of the tourist products in Kyrgyzstan. Many of the teams have done a financial business plan that has not been spelled out in the rules of competition, when IAAU’s MarkMan team created a clear way of  marketing promotion for a unique  "Sary-Chelek Eco Resort", on which, in turn, the judges  responded as " very thoughtful marketing. " It is also one of the participants finished a static web-site was developed by the team, in which the guests of the competition  and the judges  were able to familiarize themselves with the idea and services  of Ecological "Sary-Chelek Eco Resort".

 After interviewing  MarkMan’s team members, representatives of which are the students of the 2nd course of management department, we can see that the 3rd place served as a kind of motivation to participate in the coming  competition in subsequent years, where the team will be able to perform their full potential, based on their first experience. In addition, the team would like to thank the moderators of the marketing competition  for the chance to improve their knowledge in the field of marketing, as well as their supervisor Nurdin Kaparov for the endless support.
